Jon Van Geest
Jon Van Geest
Team Leader /
As the founder and team leader of Van Geest Group, Jon’s role goes well beyond having his name on the front of the office. Through personal example, he instils his vision for doing real estate the right way in everything he does. Acting as more than a sales representative, more than a manager, and more than an owner, he motivates the Van Geest Group team towards getting deals done while emphasizing the importance of forming extraordinary client relationships.
With over 10 years of experience buying and selling homes, from helping first-time buyers find their first home to designing and building ultramodern architectural masterpieces, he’s comfortable operating in any real estate environment. Regionally, Jon’s expansive knowledge extends from remote rural areas to metropolitan cities.
When he’s not working, you can often find him strumming away on his guitar. Which one, we don’t know, we’ve lost count of how many he owns. Actually, before he ever got into real estate, he studied Jazz Guitar at Humber College in Toronto and also played professionally for six years.
Jayme Van Geest
Jayme Van Geest
As our Marketing Director, Jayme does everything from creating content and curating our social media account to consulting on Van Geest Group’s overall brand direction. She’s also in charge of client appreciation and developing innovative methods to more effectively market client’s properties through photography, video, open houses, and multimedia advertising. Jayme does all this while being a mom to two little boys.
Drawing experience from being the Director Of Communications for Careforce International and owning a successful wedding photography business, Jayme consults clients on how to efficiently showcase their space when selling their homes through her extensive knowledge and passion for interior and exterior design. Her adoration towards architectural composition even led her to design her own home from the ground up. She’s also the official Van Geest Group office decorator, so if you like what you see at our offices, let Jayme know because she’d love to chat about it!
Can’t find her in the office – well, then she’s most likely outside, training for a marathon or drawing inspiration from the great outdoors. Jayme’s creativity largely stems from the natural world, and in her own words, “There’s no better example of creativity than nature itself!”
As our team’s Administrative & Operations Manager and full-time Sales Representative, Megan’s attention to detail, and organizational skills ensure that everything runs smoothly at our office. On top of that, she works diligently to help clients realize their real estate potential. A Burlington resident for over two decades, Megan has an intimate knowledge of the real estate markets throughout the GTA and a particular fondness for the area and local events. She brings a depth of knowledge, youthful exuberance and a fresh take on real estate, all while providing contemporary ideas to enhance each client’s overall experience.
For her, it’s all about relationships. With a history working in customer service, Megan is used to meeting new people every day, appreciates genuinely getting to know everyone she encounters, and relishes in her ability to make their day memorable.
Megan also has a vigorous passion for fitness and nutrition, including mindfulness, which helps her in her day-to-day activities.
